Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Offer of a job
I have been here since feb 08 on a visa wavier and I now have been offered a job. My time left is three weeks, what advise should someone in my position do, as I have not brought up sponsorhip yet.

You are not allowed to work in the United States without work authorization. These days, doing so puts both you and your employer at risk. If you want to accept the job, then you will have to raise the issue of sponsorship with your prospective employer. If he agrees to sponsor you, then I recommend contacting an attorney to discuss sponsorship options.
