You may be eligible for a work visa, such as an H-1B visa. There are still approximately 15,000+ H-1B visas available at the present moment. Of course, you will need to meet the requirements of the H-1B category and have an offer of employment from a company that is willing to petition for you.

If your current employer is willing to sponsor you for an H-1B visa, then you would still be able to apply for one as long as you are qualified for the position, and your employer will pay you the prevailing wage. You and your employer should speak with an attorney to discuss whether the H-1B visa is an option for you to continue working in the US.

I would need more information regarding your particular case before I could comment on it properly.

However, to continue working legally you would need to find a job that will assist you in getting a valid work permit.

Please note that it is against the law to work without a permit.
