Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Overstay on F1 visa within 180 days
I lost my F1 status about 3 months ago unintentionally because I am dismissed from the program.
Is it possible to apply for a H4 visa( it's approved already in May and will be effective from Oct. 1st) to enter united states?
Or is there any other method to stay here with a legal status ?
Thanks

You cant apply for H4 because you are out of status. You need to reinstate your F status esp. if you lost it unintentionally, and then change to H4 in Oct.
