Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
can a person with felony sponsor
I have two felony records. My fiance is on a H1 visa and would like to get married and sponsor her a green card. Can I be the sponsor with my record? What will be the problems that we may encounter legally?

Re: can a person with felony sponsor
Dear Sir,
Your criminal history should be a factor in your ability to sponsor your wife for immigration benefits. However, it may be advisable to consult with an immigration lawyer before filing.
Good luck.

Apologies. On my previous post I meant to say that your criminal charges should NOT be a factor in your ability to sponsor your wife for immigration benefits.
