Re: Ple of Guilty - can create problem in Immigration?

An auto accident is unlikely to harm your petition unless it is accompanied by a conviction for 'abandoning the scene of an accident'.

The only crimes that will have an impact on your petition are those that relate to 'moral turpitude'. Things that indicate not that you are a bad driver, but a bad person. Abandoning the scene of an accident suggests that you may have ignored an important law because you have no respect for the law or other persons. Just an auto accident indicates only that you are a bad driver - and so am I!

Let me know if you were convicted for 'abandoning the scene of an accident', there may be things we can do to repair your situation.
