Removal of conditions for greencard

My husband have been asked to resubmit evidence for I-751 - removal of conditions.

If I hire an attorney to consult will they simply be able to tell us what additional evidence we need to provide or will we have to hire them on for the duration of the process?

Do I have a right to simply ask what further documentation is needed after they review what we have already provided?

Also if the USCIS deems our evidence to be insufficient what would the next step be? We have yet to have an interview.

I would recommend reviewing the request and documents to be submitted with an attorney prior to submitting your response. Submitting the appropriate documentation may help you avoid an interview with USCIS.

Our imm. attorneys can either consult with you by the hour or take over the work from for a flat fee. I would expect any attorney would charge you to review what you filed and the response you received and then they could go forward from there.
