Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
My situation involves my newlywed wife whom I married this September. I am a Naturalized citizen. She arrived in the US 10 years ago from Peru illegally. She
flew to Mexico and crossed the border into the US. Now that we are
married (all legit), we want to start the process for her papers in
any capacity. I recently suffered two strokes to my brain and was
told that may help the situation somewhat. Thank you.

If she entered illegally, she cannot adjust status.
However, you can file a "provisional waiver", and, if approved, she would need to return to Peru, to apply for her immigrant visa at the U.S. Embassy.
