Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
special procedure to marry non-citizen?
My fiance is a UK citizen and I'm American. Can we get a marriage license in NY right away or is any special procedure required? He's not trying to move here; I'm moving there but we want to get married in NY. He is already in the country and we would be leaving shortly after the wedding.

Just go down to City Hall and get married.

You both need to have valid identification regardless of whether or not issued by US authorities. These are the only requirements. Good luck.
