If I have a misdemeanor can i travel or still get citizenship?

You should avoid traveling with a criminal conviction unless you have discussed you situation with an attorney. Many criminal convictions, even if misdemeanors, may trigger removal proceedings and depending on what you are charged with, when the conviction occurred, etc, you may or may not be eligible for relief. Additionally, a conviction may affect your ability to naturalize.
