Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
temporary green card
i had my interview recently, the immigration officer said that i will get my temporary green card in 1 to 2 months in the mail.my question, in my passport she wrote 1-485, pending, my alien number, the place of my interview, the date and her signature, does this mean that i was approved already? please, please get back to me...thanks

The notations in the passport merely reflect that you were interviewed and that your application is pending. Your green card will be mailed to you if that is what you were informed.
