Traveling to Bermuda permanent resident
My wife and I want to travel to Bermuda. She is at permanent resident staus until she receives full residency. Can she travel with a regular passport? Or is a passport for a U.S citizen only?

if your wife is permanent resident, she can apply for travel document.

If your wife has a green card, legally she can leave the USA and return. If your wife is waiting for her green card, then NO she cannot leave unless she files a form called an advance parole form with the USCIS. In any case this could take several months to be approved, therefore it would be worth waiting for her to obtain her green card.
Once she has a green card this will allow her to re-enter the USA, however you will need to check that the country you are travelling to will allow your wife to enter on her passport as some countries require visas for non us citizens.
