Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I came to USA as a student on F1 visa 2008, I applied for asylum on 2012 because my father was prosecuted back in my country and the prosecutors also threaten to harm our whole family in 2011. Though I explained this to the Asylum Officer with statement from my father and other proof, she denied my asylum. Also my asylum interview took 3 (2015) years to come and I had fallen out of my F1 status. My case has gone in front of an immigration judge. I do not know how long will that take to come. Is there a way I can ask the AO to revise my case. Or go back to being an F1 student. Please advice.

Hi. Now is the time to hire counsel to represent you in removal proceedings. As you're out of status if you lose your asylum case then you may have to eventually depart the U.S. You'll need to work hard to win your asylum case before an immigration judge by preparing yourself to testify and providing substantial and relevant documentation to support your claim. You will also want to see if there are any other options for you to remain in the U.S. besides the asylum case. Feel free to call us if you'd like to discuss your matter.
