Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

help me!

how can i wipe a charge from my record,from 1993,i been stable for 15 years since.only given 5 years probation,for sexual misconduct in 1993.i can't enter canada because of past criminal activity.they said something about getting a pardon or eligibility for rehabilitation.how long well this take with a lawyer?
