Re: work permit for daughter

You explained that you are a permanent resident, how long have you been a permanent resident?

How old is your grandson?

Because you are NOT a US citizen, it will take a longer time for your daughters petition to be processed.

Re: work permit for daughter

As a permanent resident your daughter and son will only be permitted to remain in the US while you file for them, and are a permanent resident if they are in valid legal status. If not, then they will not be eligible to obtain their green cards in the US. Note that if they have already overstayed their authorized stay more than 180 days and leave the US, they will not be able to re-enter for 3 years. If they overstayed more than 365 days and then try to re-enter, they will be barred for 10 years. You should consult with an immigration attorney to determine their eligibility for lawful permanent residence.
