Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
Car Accident involving death
I was the driver in a car that was involved in an accident where an oncoming car spun out of control and hit my car. The driver of the car that hit me died at the scene. The accident was his fault and I am in no part to blame as I was almost at a complete stop when he hit. I recieved no serious injuries and the other drivers insurance company wants to meet with me. Do I need a Lawyer? What should I expect?

You are generally NOT under any obligation to speak with the other insurance company at all...only your own.
There is no need to speak with them as far as I can see...
Please call me at 212-764-5428 to discuss this further if you'd like.
Good Luck
