Car Accident What Should I do
Got into a car accident last night. Somebody hit me. We agreed not to call the police. My back started hurting me this morning what should i do? Scenario on about 60th and 2nd ave right befor the queensboro you have to make a left or go o nto the queensboro. I was at a red light and realized this i put on my turning signal but i was in the second lane but its a 6 lane street going one way( the street i was turning onto) and the guy was speeding and he hit the side of my car and distroyed it.

Go tot he police now and make out a late report in the precinct where it happened. Notify your insurance company.

If you are in an accident you should always report it to your insurance company if you or anyone may have been hurt. Tha will cover no-fault medical bills for you. If you don't have property damage insurance it will still cover you for liability if you get sued. If you wait too long the company can disclaim coverage.
As to property damage report it to the other guy's company if it was his fault and you have no coverage.
