Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
Home Owners Insurance
Claim for septic back up in home was denied due to misrepresentation. Insurance co (whom I have been w/ for 8 years) claimed that because I did not mention a claim of similar nature which occured last year, I am denied. When incident occured, I called in claim and was given an 800# to call for a restoration co. Since claim is denied, who is responsible for this restoration bill?

Re: Home Owners Insurance
Hello.
If the work was done, the answer is; 'you'. In any event, even with insurance, you are untimately responsible.
Good Luck
