Insurance claims
My mom put our dad down as her beneficiary to her life insurance. She was killed three months later. Many people believe my dad had a hand in her murder. Will he still receive the money?

If you can prove it, the insurance company will not pay the death benefit to the person who caused the death.
Generally this arises after a criminal prosecution but it might be possible to bring a civil action depending on the facts.
