Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
liabilty issue 20 year son/daughter residing with in the household
If my son/daughter own their own vehicle and have their own insurance policy; fail to keep the policy in effect; due to lack of payment and then get into an accident; am I liable in any way? They reside in my home. They are 20.

No. The family car doctrine was repealed when the Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Act was enacted. Of course, do not drive this car :-)
