Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
i'm located in NYS. my 16yr old daughter has a lifetime immune illness, needs infusions every three weeks. she was denied SSI. I make to much for other assistance at the local level. i cannot afford the per visit copay. i pay the hospital 150 a month, every month. balance is around 6k now. they are telling me i can't keep this high of a rolling balance. can they take me to court?

Did you apply for SSI personally or with the aid of an attorney? They can sue you for the cost of medical care for your daughter. I believe you better apply for SS by retaining an attorney specializing in the field. Call me if you need help.
