Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
Medical insurance for non-immigrant workers
I am in US as a non-immigrant worker on L1 (company transfer) visa. Our company provide a group medical insurance covering all our employees in different states of USA.
The policy , as they say, is not a typical US Health policy but a Emergency Medical and Sickness policy. For a dispute with insurance , where should I put a complaint. As I understand , the insurance company has got its headoffice outside the USA and operate here through an administrator.
Is it something the state dept of insurance will cover?
Or do I need to got to a small claims court ?

All insurance complaints should be made to the NYS Department of Insurance in Akbany, NY if indeed that is where you live or work.
