I am in the process of purchasing a product from company "a" at wholeasle and plan to resell to various entities at retail.
My question is of my liability in the case of injury, fire, etc. to the end user.
The product is a self assemble light fixture made of polypropylene (non flammable) with a light cord/switch for on off

If the product causes harm, then there is a compelling argument that the product is defective.
You sell to consumers, you're going to get sued.
You need to buy commercial general liability insurance that includes coverage for
"products and completed operations."
