Re: Question about an auto accident

The amount of risk depends upon the injuries, if any, the other people received in the accident. 99.9 percent of the time the insurance coverage is the only thing a plaintiff's lawyer looks for. It is generally wise to have your personal attorney keep an eye on the documents in the lawsuit since the insurance company lawyers are only interested in protecting the insurance company. The Bill of Particulars submitted by the plaintiffs and the medical reports should be reviewed by a lawyer with experience in this field. You may have received a formal letter from your insurance company advising you that you could retain your own personal lawyer if the lawsuit requested a sum of money greater than your insurance coverage.
