Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
Stereo Stolen
I brought my car to a repair shop to have the transmission repaired. While in the parking lot overnight it was unlocked ny someone who had a key (garage owner) and the stereo system stolen. Is the onwer of the shop responsbile for my car stereo being stolen? He is saying no because he has no isnurance.

Yes he is. Its called a bailment, when you leave your car in a garage or repair shop.
Insurance has nothing to do with it. Sue him.
