Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
''Timely Filing'' Denial of Health Claim
My health insurance claim was denied for late filing of claim. I had personal problems which prevented me from filing. Under what conditions would the insurance company reconsider the denial? (Also: Is it better for me or my doctor to submit the appeal?)
Many thanks.
