Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
Can I Get another trial even though it was a final decision?
Hi I just got back from trial at a small claims court...Since we decided to go with a abritrator the decision is final...It seems we have lost the case...Is there anyway to have a re-trial because we were at a unfair disadvantage...my Dad did not speak english and my translating was bad which might have caused us to leave out some important information...The dispute was that the brokerage company did not give us back out downpayment when we canceled our insurance...The brokerage firm claims that they gave the money back to the insurance company...but the insurance company went out of business...Its really confusing...What should I do?

No. An arbitrator's decision is final.
