Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York
Unpaid health insurance claim
In Dec.1999 I was hospitalized for 2 days. I was then a member of Us healthcare. The bill was never paid and the hospital hired a collection attorney group to freeze my small cash assets. They put a hold on my bank account in which I cannot get any $$$ out. I have tried to explain to both the lawyers and the insurance co but they don't seem to get it. There is no reason why this bill was not paid, and now my good name and credit is at stake. How do I get back the use of my money and can you help me with this?

Your question is a little unclear to me....Did the hospital not bill you..or your health insurance carrier? Is the money sought the deductible?
