Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York

Copywritting a story

I'm interested in knowing the law involved when it comes to intellectual property such as books and scripts for movies and animation storyboards. Can you tell me anything?

Re: Copywritting a story

Books and scripts and storyboards are works of authorship and, as such, are indeed covered by the law of copyright. However, as stated, your question is WAY too broad to answer here.

For substantial but general information on copyright law, please see the US Copyright Office's website at www.copyright.gov .

If the Office's website (including the Circulars they have posted) doesn't answer your specific question, please contact me offline.
