Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York
Hi, I developed a device that streams movies and music to the television through p2p technology. I want to know if this type of device is legal or not? Thank you very much.

This question cannot be answered briefly as there are many factors that play a role. In general, if you have rights or a license to the content you are streaming, then your device is doing nothing wrong. In addition, there may be some exceptions for personal use.
In any event, you should consult with a patent attorney to examine whether your device can be patented.
