Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York

I have an idea for a product. How would I go about marketing it? There are many companies out there who will "market your invention," but I beleive most are scams. Any advice appreciated. [email protected]

Any attorney will say you need to look into protecting your idea before disclosing it to others. You should also look into using a good NDA (Nondisclosure Agreement). Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
