Photograph of a Car..
If I photographed a BMW and removed the logos. Can I then use the image (converted from the photo) on a clients web site?

You can use it but you are still violating the original owners copyright, and may also be violating trademark of BMW.
More info is necessary to identify and determine the scope of the issue, but you can't use a photo on a website that you have no ownership or control over.
