Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York

If I place a personally made video on a place like youtube how can claim personal rights or what can I do to my video say water mark with my account name? And not allow it to be re posted on other sites without my permission. And have the right to have it removed from any site without my permission.

You own a copyright in your work as of the moment you created it by putting it on some form of video medium from which it can be reproduced. By putting it on a site like YouTube you license the video to YouTube and agree to certain uses described in the site's Terms of Service.

Beyond that license you retain all intellectual property rights in your work, including the right to have it removed from any site that is using it without permission.
