Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New York
trademark usage for fundraising
In selling a product for fund raising, can I use the trademarked name of the organization I'm raising money for (printed on the product to let customers know what the money is being raised for) without asking permission from the owner of the trademark?

Probably, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to do so without their permission. Even if you might prevail, were they to sue you for trademark infringement, you would be put to substantial expense to defend yourself.
