Legal Question in International Law in New York

Hi.

I made a donation to a church when i was financially well off

Then i found out the so called pastor of that church used the money to buy his own car.Well also many other things wrong with him.

Now i am destitute and i need to have back the money donated to that frsudulent pastor also as i made the donationfrom italy my country at the time and there is a law that states if the one who donsted becomes poor he/she can ask the money back.

How can i pursue my legal action?
