Annual Profit Limits for IRA or deferred compensation
Are there any limits on the amount I can earn or percent profitability in one year in an IRA or deferred compensation plan?

The only limits are on the amount you can contribute, not on the amounts you can make. However, when you ask questions like that, it makes me wonder what kind of investment you are contemplating making and whether you should seek advice before making the investment.
