How to find out what happened to my investment (Forex), hold principle responsib

What is cheapest way to find out about my account with a FOREX co. and if the co. and or principal has assets to attach is in or out of business or what? I requested my 120,000 account be returned in Jan of 2003 but was stalled with excuses until July 03 when they claimed they were going out of business. Even though I continued to receive statements showing profits to my account thru Mar 03 they refused to return my money.
