Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in New York
NYS Child Laws
I deliver papers at night and am gone about 4 hours. Can I legally leave my 13yr home alone while I do this?

Re: NYS Child Laws
There is no law about leaving a 13 year old home alone. 13 year old girls babysit for young children, depending on their maturity.
Even boys at 13 years old are mature enough.
The better question is do you feel that you can leave your 13 year old home alone.
In most circumstances the answer would be yes.
