Re: Teenage runaway
Your cousin could get into trouble if your parent(s) object. On the other hand, your boyfriend can't be in trouble for dating you... however he also could be in trouble for keeping your "secret" as to where you are living if he is asked and lies.
Once again, It may help you to speak to a lawyer. The lawyer may be able to work things out bewteen all the parties so that charges and lying doesn't have to happen. You may want to speak to a lawyer who represents a lot of young people. These lawyers are also occasionally called "guardians." It comes from the legal term "Guardian ad Litem."
IF you do not know an attorney, or feel you cannot afford one, contact your county bar association and ask if it has a family probono counsel. If not describe your situation to the bar director or assistant nd maybe they will know a person who takes cases "Pro Bono" which means for the public's good.
Good Luck.
