Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in New York

Wanting custody

I am trying to get custody of my 1 yr. old cousin who is in Foster care. He has been in NY state custody for 9 months. I live in Ohio. Where can I find the laws for New York on this issue. I want to know my rights.

It sounds like you may need to speak with the foster care agency and/or the child protective services. THey may explain to you what is necessary.
