Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I am 7 months pregnant and my Dr. gave me a note to give to work to request I work less amount of days at work. HR said no to the request and showed the note to 2 of my supervisors. They said if I go down to 4 days a week I will be fired. Are they allowed to do this?

No. While it depends exactly what the doctor said, I assume your health or your preganancy is at risk from what you are doing. If your employer will not agree to give you light duty or less days without firing you, you have a pregnancy discrimination claim against them.
