Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I have been accussed of harassment on work place. I have not been terminated. It's been over a week. I would like to file a grievance to my supervisor because I believe that I've been discriminated against. Should I do so before they terminate?

Why do you believe you have been discriminated against?

Are you a member of a union?

Your union can file a grievance on your behalf.

What are the circumstances regarding the harassment?

Is there an investigation being conducted regarding the accusation of harassment?
