Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Had an affair with the boss...he promised me the world blah blah changed his mind after 2 years and now is firing me. Can I sue? I am a single mother with no other means. To put a fly in ointment..I dont technically work for him. I own my own company within his where he gives me a draw every month to work on & manage his accounts.

What do you think?
