Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
My boss allowed me to use his car for an errand, while driving I rear-ended another car. My boss did not want to go through the insurance company because the car and insurance is not in his name. He is now going to dock my paycheck for the damages for both cars, the paycheck I recieve only once a month, is this legal?

No, it's not legal. If your employer illegally docks your pay, you can contact the State Department of Labor to file a complaint.
