Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I was called back to work after a layoff from my employer and said that now I will be a contract employee which means no benefits, no vacation, or paid holiday pay. I had all these benefit's before.Can they do this?

Yes, unless there is a union contract which provides otherwise. You have the option of trying to find another position.
