Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
Need Help with case in Sexual Harassment, ADA, and Federal Labor Standards Act
I am seeking help by an attorney who is looking for either the benefit of a pro-bono or a contingincy (sp) case. I have to file a multipal case against my last company including Sexual Harassment (discrimination against me because I am a woman, wages, over 40 and straight-not gay). ADA- I am protected by ADA, company refused to comply with 2 requests which would not have cost them anything and fit into the term ''reasonable request'' but didn't want to and told me so. The company withholds commission on money earned and if you leave before the time it is suppose to be paid out it is given to remaining employees (nothing in handbook) plus they do not pay all commissions they change the structure weekly, to weekly deepending on their finances. In addition, clients expecting refunds are delayed while the company floats their money then finally pays it back without interest. I have no money, I have $100.00 in savings and applying for social services at age 47. Please someone find it in your heart to use me as your pro bono write off case this year.
I live in New York, NY my info is above. Thank you Joan

Re: Need Help with case in Sexual Harassment, ADA, and Federal Labor Standards A
Thank you for your inquiry. If you are protected under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act or under New York Civil Rights and are being or have been discriminated against, a cause of action does lie against your employer. Additional information is needed to verify your ability to sustain such an action. Feel free to call me for a consultation on this matter at: [email protected] (516)-256-7737 or (212) 239-2460
[Please Note: These comments are not intended as nor should they be relied upon as "legal advice", which can only be obtained by personal consultation with a retained attorney; at which time the specific facts and circumstances of your case can be thoroughly evaluated. The above does not create an attorney-client relationship with the responding attorney.]
