Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Class action

I am involved in a Class action in which a former employee wants to settle out of court. The amount is un acceptable to me and others in the class action. Can we go to trial as our representative is pressuring us to take the money. I feel we should go to trail.

You are entitled to 'opt-out' of the class and sue on your own.
