Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Conract breach

I recently signed a contract to work for a pharmaceutical company and they have just terminated my employment (should have been working next week) because of a hiring freeze. I relied on this position by foregoing other employment and now I must pay rent for my apt without a job. Is there any legal equitable remedy for my case

Re: Conract breach

This situation sounds like one that warrants compensation, although the contract you signed may state otherwise. I would need to review the contract to fully explain your options.

You may contact me by email to arrange for a consultation.
