Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I was employed in a restaurant in ny that never gave any breaks i was wondering if that is legal (which i worked 10-16 hrs a day) I have also been unemployed from there since july 26th and still haven received my final check is that legal

From what I recall (I do dis law as part of labor and employment law), this is ALL not legal.
