Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Employment Offer Letter

When accepting my current position,

I was given an offer letter stating my

current and future salary based on

pending investments coming into the

company. Those investments have

since come in. At this point, the

promised salary has not yet be

provided, and attempts to claim it

have been met with constant

attempts at renegotiation and

promises of future compensation. Do

I have legal grounds for action to

claim said salary including retroactive

pay to when it should have started?

At this point, I no longer am

interested in salvaging a good

employment relationship.

Re: Employment Offer Letter

Perhaps not retroactively absent a lawsuit, but certaininly you have legal grounds for an action, namely an agreement. It is a contract action.
