I will not be returning to my place of employment where i was injured (my decision). My doctor took me off of work, my restrictions could not be met. Can i seek employment elsewhere while receiving comp. Benefits?

Yes as to workers compensation, but unemployment would be different, and you may lose some part of the benefits.
